BRIGHTON ROCKS
Jehane Boden Spiers was born in Brighton in 1972.
Inspired by literature and history, her early work explored the links
between Britain and India; combining popular Brighton landmarks with
maps, poetry, and extracts from Greene's 'Brighton Rock'.
A member of Brighton's samba band 'Carnival Collective' for seven years,
a love of percussion and dancing was combined with a myriad of visual
projects.
